Incident at Burton today

Well here is my 2 cents.

Stan and Jimbo pamper a certain race to keep mommies and daddys from getting angry and pablo escobaring their [censored]. Then comes baseball season and Mack tells everyone how it is and those that have been pampered dont have thick enough skin to handle the abuse. It kinda goes back to what Stinson was saying, except Im kinda grouping people into a category.

Couldn't have said it better myself MEGA. That is alot of the problem at Burton IMO.

It will continue to be the problem because Stan and Jimbo's replacements, whenever they leave, wil ldo the same thing. I know they are setting Doug up to replace Stan, but who will replace Jimbo when his time comes?

They really don't have any choice but to coach the way they do, if they want to have a job. I don't like it any more than anyone else but that is the way our society has become.

A buddy of mine that teaches at Burton has said that exact same thing since he has been there for the past 2 or so years. Sounds like a real problem.

Could not agree more.

I know Shupe was really high on Burton because they have some very solid athletes.

From everything I have heard, I think Mack Shupe is a great coach. It just takes a different kind of athlete to play for him. He demands respect and if you respect and listen to him, which I think alot of JJ Kelly teams did, then you will be extremely successful. If not, it will be miserable for him and the team both.
